IFAS Extension: 2009 Northwest District

The Northwest District consists of the following counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington.

Success Stories coming out of the district this year feature agent involvement in international programs, focusing on the Distance Diagnostic Information System, biofuel production, and landscape training. Other stories include the Victory Garden program in Escambia County, feedback technology, and horse owner education in Santa Rosa County.
